Wow, this is big news. I just got an email from the Vancouver Canucks that there will be a NBA preseason game at GM Place:

General Motors Place announced yesterday that Vancouver will host an NBA pre-season game between the Seattle SuperSonics and the Phoenix Suns on October 26 at 7:00 pm.

The Seattle SuperSonics pre-season home game at General Motors Place will see new head coach P.J. Carlesimo and the #2 selection in the 2007 NBA Draft, Kevin Durant, with the #5 selection in the 2007 NBA Draft, Jeff Green, take on the Suns coach Mike D'Antoni, Victoria's Steve Nash and Grant Hill.
