My cousin brought a case of Budweiser over to my place recently. He purchased it from the local liquor store on Main Street here in Vancouver. We were happily drinking the case of beer when later in the evening, I pulled this out of the box of Budweisers [see photo]. It was one of the last beers in the box.
As you can see in the picture, the bottle is wrapped in duct tape. The label has been stuck to the beer on top of the tape. There is no back label on the beer and duct tape is wrapped completely around the beer. In addition, the beer kind of looks flat and the level is slightly lower than where it should be.
I assume there is quality control people on an assembly line and for whatever reason, this bottle of beer was wrapped in duct tape before it was labeled. I have no clue about bottling processes but this is the only explanation I can fathom as to why this bottle is like this.
This is not a hoax. I realize when you say this, it immediately makes you look guilty. But I want to dispel any thoughts that I am making this up. For starters, why?

Where I live sometimes
Where I live sometimes people who want only a few beers will take some from six packs or if some are missing for some reason they'll get the beers from anyplace to fill their pack/case. It is strange that the case of beer has a bottle like this they are usually sealed up pretty well. Have the caps screw on here as well wouldn't help in figuring out if someone did this at the bottling stage or some place else after taking the cap off. Anyway hopefully this was the only bottle like it and the others tasted fine. I think you should email this to budweiser with a slight complaint and maybe they'll send you a free case of beer or a free roll of duct tape. narconon

I emailed this to some friends and one of them, who will remain nameless, responded:
"maybe its a special promo - find the duct tape bottle of bud and win a
redneck weekend away to medicine hat alberta where you can hunt
gophers, drink and drive, fight and tell all the racist jokes you want
and still get a laugh."
